What is the specific mission of the Human Life Awareness Campaign?

Our mission is very specific and focused on achieving ONE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THING for the purpose of advancing the pro-life agenda in the USA and around the world - to show the truth about abortion to as many people as we possibly can online each day so that they will be able to act and make decisions with the truth in mind. That any future consideration of aborting an innocent and defenseless baby is murder because abortion is the intentional killing of innocent human life. This is why we have taken as our name the Human Life Awareness Campaign - because we exist to make the online world aware of the humanity of the preborn that are being violently terrorized and murdered 3,000+ times each day.

How important is it that more people see the truth about abortion?

If you talk with anyone who has given a pro-life presentation to a group of people they will tell you that the material they shared that had the greatest impact on the group was the images and videos of babies that were aborted. A half hour of the most eloquent presentation on the humanity of the preborn does not come close to equaling the power of seeing the actual humanity of the preborn that are being brutalized for just a few seconds. They may forget MOST of what they "hear" (the more you say the less they retain), but that image will remain in their conscious mind forever. And when the time comes where they or a friend faces a crisis pregnancy they will have a very concrete image of what abortion is instead of just abstract, euphemistic concepts such as "choice". They will know exactly what "choice" is.

What if someone who comes across one of your websites seeks help for someone in a crisis pregnancy or wants post-abortion counseling?

While dealing with crisis pregnancies and post-abortion counseling is not a part of our mission we have a good number of resources that we can share with them or guide them to if they want to seek the nearest CPC or post-abortion counseling outreach.

Why not make people aware of the humanity of the preborn by holding big signs in high-traffic public areas like at college campuses and busy intersections as other pro-life groups do?

The reason why we are focusing all of our efforts online and not using the methods other pro-life groups have used is due to a number of good reasons.
  1. The superiority of sharing the truth online in a way that does not exist offline (showing signs to people walking or driving by). When someone sees the truth online they can let their friends know about it by sending a link or even sharing the images and video directly with their friends/family/acquaintances. You can't do that nearly as easily offline when walking or driving past some big posters where people just catch a brief glimpse of the truth.
  2. The average cost per view is cheaper and of a higher quality. Consider the cost involved in order to show the truth about abortion to several hundred people within an hour's time at a busy intersection or college campus. You first have to spend $200 or more for each big sign used which needs maintenance and end up needing to be replaced. Then there is the cost of literature that is handed out. Then there is the cost of gas money which can be very expensive if you have a number of people using different cars. If using one big van as some groups do to go on "campus tours" across the nation (or parts of the country) that means spending a termendous amount of money for gas each day along with the cost of fixing the van when it breaks down. Then there is the cost of food on the road. Adding this up results in easily exceeding $100 per outing. And once in public view these images are being viewed by those who are passing by and need to be watching the road to drive safely. Or there are students walking to their next class that don't want to commit time to looking at the truth that they first spot at a distance of 10-20 yards away and in some cases more.
    -

Our method of sharing the truth online is superior in every way. There is no money spent on gas. There is no money spent to fix the van. There is no money spent on big signs. There is no money spent on eating out. All of the people who view the images and video that show the truth about abortion view it directly in front of them on their screen instead of from afar. And they have the time to look at it because they chose through their own volition at that specific moment to click on a link or image that took them to that website where they can see the truth.
  3. Those viewing the truth do so because they clicked on an image or link that brought them to view this information. In other words, they won't feel like they are being forced to see the gruesome, horrible truth about abortion. This results in the complete elimination of violent attacks against us or the destruction of signs while engaging in pro-life activism online. You can't be assaulted physically online ;)
  4. People typically look at things online ALONE. So, when they see the truth about the humanity of the preborn online they do not need to concern themselves with how they appear to those around them when they respond to the truth. And they don't have to be concerned about their young children seeing it as they are when they walk or drive by these images in offline activism.
  5. The anonymity that the internet provides helps to put the focus upon the brutal act of killing an innocent human person and NOT upon the person that is sharing the truth with them. This is important because not knowing specific details about who is sharing the truth makes it much harder for them to criticize us because of our appearance, sex, religious beliefs, etc. instead of dealing with the horror of abortion head on. For example, we'll never hear super-retarded and irrational arguments like "You can't say anything about the murder of babies because you're not a woman!"
